Nelly Boyd @ Kunstraum Tosterglope

From September 22 – 24 we are following an invitation from Kunstraum Tosterglope to perform our member Jan Feddersen’s composition giration 4.2 written between 2019 and 2022 for two female singers and four electric guitars played with e-bows.    

We are pleased to perform the piece with our friends Fiona McKenzie and Donghee Nam. Before the concert, Jan will talk with Birgit Maschke about the piece and his work.

The concert will take place on September 23 at 5:00 pm (!) at St. Lamberti Church, Am Kirchplatz 11, 21369 Nahrendorf (Wendland).

klub katarakt 2022

We are happy to play at this year’s klub katarakt festival. It’s actually happening!

We are playing on the opening and closing nights, Wednesday January 19 and Saturday January 22, respectively. On Wednesday we will play Nellys Boudoir by Robert Engelbrecht, and on Saturday giration 4.2 ( a new version of giration 4) by Jan Feddersen.

We are joined for these concerts by our good friends and colleagues Donghee Nam and Fiona McKenzie.

Nelly Boyd returns to blurred edges festival and to her core business. The ensemble presents two extensive drone compositions: a world premiere and a classic for its 20th anniversary.

Phill Niblock at klub katarakt 14

We will play with Phill Niblock again! At klub katarakt on Friday, January 18.

Together with our colleagues Partitions & Resonances from Berlin we will premiere Phill’s piece A Rose in Bloom, a combination of One Large Rose and Two Blooms. We will also play Tow by Tom.

Plus Ujoforyt (2012) by Jan Feddersen, performed in two versions for toy piano and celesta, respectively, by Ju-Ping Song.
